Shawn I'm glad you had us on your radar 🙂. The Venator is a great purchase, really enjoy the whole building experience, it's truly amazing and makes for an excellent display model. I hope you share more with us once you receive it!
Regarding storage, I currently use a wall shelf for smaller models, and for larger ones, I have a shelf with glass panels. However, a piece of advice would be to measure the depth you need accurately; I made that mistake myself.
If you plan on starting a collection, it might be a good idea to look into furniture that allows you to optimize the space you have available. Besides, it's one of those lifetime investments... for larger models, shelves with ample depth, display cabinets (though they can get quite pricey), and if you're handy, perhaps you can build something customized. Definitely not the case for most of us (myself included).
