¡LEGO Ideas The Office revelado oficialmente!

Actions

[upl-image-preview url=https://cdn.brickzip.com/uploads/2022-07-18/1658167045-913360-21336-lifestyle-07.jpg]

About the set:

Relive hilarious and heartwarming scenes from the Emmy® Award-winning U.S. version of The Office – streaming now exclusively on Peacock – with this new, fantastic LEGO® Ideas display model. Build a LEGO brick section of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company’s branch office in Scranton, including ‘World’s Best Boss’ Michael Scott’s office. Add 15 minifigures of the show’s main characters, plus countless accessories to remind you of laugh-out-loud moments.

About the designers:

About LEGO® IDEAS submission designer, Jaijaj Lewis:
•Jaijai Lewis, a marketing professional from New York City, has worked on various versions of the model since 2014.
•Before this set, he submitted two other iterations, with both reaching the 10,000 LEGO Ideas supporters required to be considered for production.
•His last model is mainly based on the first seven seasons with Michael Scott as the “World’s Best Boss” before the character left Dunder Mifflin:
“For me, it’s a show I go to for comfort. It’s hilarious, relatable and heartwarming. I’ve heard from thousands of supporters over the years that during moments of hardship, they will watch it to lift their spirits. Overall, I worked on this project for nearly seven years. I used behind-the scenes photos, set blueprints and re-watched the show as references for my designs. It was a lot of fun to recreate classic moments from the show over the years. Even after I hit 10,000 votes, I continued adding new features to improve the model. One of my biggest changes was rescaling it to make the set smaller while keeping so many characters. I’m so grateful to the fans who came out to promote and vote for my latest designs, it really means a lot to me.”

LEGO Ideas Designers (and husband and wife duo) Laura and Chris Perron worked on the set as the LEGO Group’s own Jim and Pam.
•“Jaijai did a great job refining the scope and scale of the model, and we created the final layout and structure to capture as many iconic angles as possible, with room for 15 minifigures (and a cat). It was special being able to co-design this set with my wife, Laura; we felt we could play up the Jim and Pam dynamic. (Air high-five!) We didn’t want to hold back on references, so there are extra stickers and accessories to recreate your favorite moments.” -Chris Perron, LEGO Model Designer
•This project let me combine three things I love: my husband (Chris), The Office and LEGO bricks! We’re huge fans of the show and worked out a lot of the references and jokes in the model over dinner conversations at home. I’m really happy with how the reception desk turned out – its curve is very iconic, and we wanted to get it just right!”-Laura Perron LEGO Model Designer

Where to purchase:

The Office set will be exclusively available on Walmart.com in the U.S. (LEGO.com internationally) and is available for preorder starting July 15 and on-sale October 1.

To read/learn more visit https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/the-office-21336

What’s included:

The Office set includes an incredible 15 LEGO minifigures:

Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly, Ryan Howard, Angela Martin, Oscar Martinez, Kevin Malone, Stanley Hudson, Kelly Kapoor, Phyllis Lapin Vance, Meredith Palmer, Creed Bratton, Toby Flenderson and Darryl Philbin, plus a LEGO figure of Angela’s cat, Garbage.

There are also lots of accessory elements referencing fan-favorite moments, including a stapler in gelatin, Golden Ticket, Dundie trophy and ‘World’s Best Boss’ mug.

Additional Key Features:

This iconic LEGO set features an authentic layout of the Scranton Dunder Mifflin office. Build the reception area, Michael’s office (which slides out for display on its own), Jim and Dwight’s desk island, Phyllis and Stanley’s desk island and the conference room
Accessory elements included are inspired by classic scenes such as Jim’s teapot, letter and engagement ring for Pam; Michael’s screenplay, “Threat Level Midnight;” Dwight’s hidden weapons; Kevin’s pot of chili; and a stapler in gelatin that reference unforgettable moments from the show
12 of the minifigures have 2 facial expressions to display different emotions by just turning the heads around
The set measures over 3 in. (7 cm) high, 12 in. (30 cm) wide and 10 in. (25 cm) deep. This 1,164-piece LEGO® set is perfect for a birthday or holiday gift to yourself or another fan of The Office
This 1,164-piece set comes with an illustrated booklet about The Office, the set’s fan creator and LEGO® designers, plus step-by-step instructions to make the construction a joy
This building set for adults is one in a diverse array of LEGO Ideas sets, each created by a fan designer, voted for by LEGO fans and produced by the LEGO Group

Event duration

The duration of the event will be from 04/14/22 to 04/21/22 at 9:00 AM PDT.

Instructions

Easter eggs can appear anywhere on the Brickrr platform, in posts, user profiles, tags, bookmarks, rankings, support centre... really, anywhere you can think of, they can appear, explore the site and get them by clicking on them, each easter egg collected will be worth 1 point, although there are some special eggs that will be worth up to 5 points, collect as many as you can, there are no limits!

Rewards

Badge: to get the event badge you only have to participate in the event with at least a score of 1 or higher.

Subscriptions: during the event you can get a 3-month premium subscription, you will have to achieve a score of 25 or higher.

Prize for the winner: Once the event closes on 04/21/22 at 9:00 AM PDT, the user who has caught the most eggs among all participants will be eligible for the prize of a LEGO 40371: Easter Egg set.

For the naughty ones of the class, if you are thinking about cheating or doing weird things, we have some bad news, as we have implemented some systems to avoid egg farming, the only trick if you can consider it that way is to be active on the platform during the event which will obviously be rewarded in a better way.

Don't forget to thank @Albert and @Paco2 for their contributions and help 😉

Good luck to everyone! 🍀

BrickDose Roadmap 2021-2022

Actions

Projects need goals and to ensure the success of BrickDose we are going to set many goals for the 2021/2022 cycle, it won't be easy, but we hope you will join us along the way.

For this new start we have redesigned many of the systems that we will be using in BrickDose during the next years, among them the BrickDose versioning system, we recommend you to visit the dedicated page to find out everything about the new BrickDose versioning system that will come into force from January 2021. Here is a brief explanation.

New BrickDose Release System

The new BrickDose versioning system is divided into two types of versions, Updates (U) and Hotfixes (H). Let's go into detail between the two types.

Updates (e.g. U1.0)

There are two types of updates, those dedicated to changes to current systems/features, e.g. U1.1 and updates dedicated to feature additions where you will move to a new version number, e.g. U2.0.

Hotfixes (e.g. H1.0.1)

Hotfixes are small updates dedicated to bug fixes, they do not add, change or remove any features, they are limited to fixing bugs in the experience, e.g. H1.0.1.

BrickDose Roadmaps 2021/2022

The roadmaps may undergo changes during their duration (2021/2022), regardless of that, they will serve as a guide to the objectives to be met during the cycle and we will try to make the roadmap as close to reality as possible.

BrickDose Roadmap 2021/2022 - Releases

These are the expected versions that we will release during 2021/2022

Q1/21 - BrickDose U1.0-rc.1
Q2/21 - BrickDose U2.0-rc.1
Q3/21 - BrickDose U2.1-rc.1
Q4/21 - BrickDose U3.0-rc.1

Q1/22 - BrickDose H3.0.X-rc.1 (Planned Hotfixes)
Q2/22 - BrickDose U3.1-rc.1
Q3/22 - BrickDose U3.2-rc.1
Q4/22 - BrickDose U4.0-beta

BrickDose Roadmap 2021/2022 - Feature Releases

Q3/21 - Release of the BrickDose Rebrand (BrickDose U2.1)
Q4/21 - Release of the Database (BrickDose U3.0)
Q4/21 - Release of Collections (BrickDose U3.0)

Q3/22 - Launch of the new BrickDose Shop (BrickDose U3.2)
Q4/22 - Launch of the BrickDose Cloud (BrickDose U4.0)
Q4/22 - Launch of the BrickDose Groups (BrickDose U4.0)

BrickDose Roadmap 2021/2022 - Database (From U3.0)

The BrickDose database will have its own roadmap, with the aim to have an exponential and constant growth, for which we set several goals. Twice a year we will make reports with the progress made in the database, taking into account that we want to create the biggest LEGO database, this will be one of the most ambitious goals of BrickDose and it won't be soon, we expect several years of hard work.

Cuenta hasta 10.000

Actions
