Brickzip has changed, a lot.

What started as a more forum-style experience has now become a complete app for brick fans, collectors, builders, brands, and communities. This is one of the biggest updates we have ever made to the project, and the new experience is now live.

We are still in alpha, so you should expect bugs, missing details, and things that may change quickly. But the foundation is here, and we want your feedback as we continue building Brickzip together.

From forum to full app

The new Brickzip is no longer just a place to post and discuss. We have rebuilt the experience around a full database, social features, collections, profiles, catalog tools, and support for multiple brick brands.

Brickzip is becoming a broader platform for the brick community, not only for LEGO fans, but also for other compatible brick brands like CaDA and more.

A full database for sets, parts, and brands

One of the biggest changes is the new database system. Brickzip now has a richer catalog where users can explore sets, brands, collections, and content in a much more organized way.

This opens the door to better tracking tools, better discovery, and better support for different types of builders and collectors.

Introducing the Brickzip Card

We are also introducing the Brickzip Card.

Think of it as a profile card, a personal hub, or something similar to a Linktree for brick fans. It gives each user a clean public page where they can share their identity, links, collections, posts, and activity around the brick community.

It is designed to make your Brickzip profile more useful, more personal, and easier to share.

Passwords from the old site are gone

As part of the migration, old passwords are no longer available.

However, this is not a big issue because Brickzip now uses magic link access by default. That means you can log in securely using your email, without needing to remember or manage a password.

In most cases, you do not need a password at all. Just request a magic link, open it from your email, and you are in.

A new social feed experience

The new Brickzip also includes a completely redesigned post feed.

You can now follow other users, discover new posts, repost content, upvote posts, and interact in a more modern social experience. The goal is to make Brickzip feel more alive, easier to browse, and better for discovering great builds, collections, reviews, news, and discussions.

Private chat is here

We are also adding private chat to Brickzip.

This makes it easier to talk directly with other users, connect with collectors, discuss builds, ask questions, or simply chat with other people in the community.

New saved system and collections

The saved system has also been rebuilt.

You can now organize saved content into collections, making it easier to keep track of the posts, sets, catalog items, and ideas you care about.

We are also introducing Wanted and Owned collections for sets and catalog items. This means you can start tracking what you already have and what you want to get next.

For collectors, this is one of the most important parts of the new Brickzip experience.

New languages and global auto-translation

Brickzip is becoming more global.

We have added new languages, including French and Korean, alongside existing languages such as English and Spanish.

Even better, Brickzip now supports global auto-translation for content. You can write a post in German, Spanish, English, French, Korean, or another supported language, and other users will be able to read it in their selected site language.

Our goal is simple, make the brick community easier to connect across countries, languages, and brands.

We are in alpha, and your feedback matters

The new Brickzip is live, but it is still in alpha.

That means you may find bugs, missing details, rough edges, or features that are still being improved. We are launching this version early because we want the community to be part of the process.

Your feedback will help us decide what to improve, what to fix, and what to build next.

If you find a bug, something confusing, or have an idea for how Brickzip could be better, please tell us. This project is being built for the community, and the best way to make it better is by building it together.

Welcome to the new Brickzip

This is more than a redesign. It is the migration from a forum into a complete app for brick fans.

With the new database, Brickzip Card, multi-brand catalog support, private chat, new feed, followers, reposts, upvotes, saved collections, wanted and owned lists, new languages, and global content translation, Brickzip is becoming a much bigger and more useful platform.

The new Brickzip is live now.

Welcome to the next chapter of Brickzip.
