Terms of service

The service rules for Brickzip accounts, user content, catalog data, media, moderation, subscriptions, commerce links, partner activity, and acceptable use.

By accessing or using Brickzip, you agree to these Terms of Service and the related policies linked from the policy center. If you use Brickzip on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Eligibility, accounts, and security

  • You must be old enough to use online services under the laws that apply to you. Brickzip is not intended for children under 13 or under the minimum digital-consent age in their country without required consent.
  • You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate account information and avoid impersonating people, brands, or organizations.
  • You must not sell, transfer, share, or misuse another person's account, authentication token, session, or private data.
  • Brickzip can limit, suspend, remove, or restore access when needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity.

User content and license

  • You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant Brickzip a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, resize, translate, moderate, index, distribute, and make that content available as part of the service.
  • This license continues for public content where continued display is reasonably needed for community threads, catalog integrity, moderation records, backups, or legal compliance, even if you later delete your account.
  • You must have rights to upload or post images, text, links, catalog corrections, files, and other materials.
  • Public content may be indexed by search engines, embedded in Brickzip pages, translated for localization, and viewed by other users.
  • Brickzip may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, policies, laws, or community standards.

Acceptable use

  • Do not harass, threaten, dox, stalk, impersonate, exploit, or target people or groups.
  • Do not upload or distribute malware, spam, scams, deceptive links, illegal content, sexual content involving minors, child exploitation content, private personal data, or instructions for real-world harm.
  • Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, confidentiality obligations, platform rules, or the rights of builders, photographers, brands, data providers, and marketplaces.
  • Do not scrape aggressively, bypass access controls, interfere with security, reverse engineer restricted systems, manipulate metrics, abuse APIs, or overload the service.
  • Do not use Brickzip to mislead collectors about authenticity, condition, brand identity, source, price, availability, endorsement, or affiliation.

Catalog, trademarks, and third-party data

  • Catalog records are provided for discovery, community, and collection workflows and may contain errors or incomplete data.
  • Brickzip may import, link to, summarize, or reference third-party catalog, product, marketplace, media, and pricing sources. Those sources remain subject to their own terms and rights.
  • LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, BrickLink, BrickHeadz, and other LEGO-related marks are trademarks of the LEGO Group or its affiliates. Brickzip is not sponsored, authorized, or endorsed by the LEGO Group unless a specific page says otherwise.
  • Other brand, product, marketplace, game, and partner names belong to their respective owners. References are used for identification, compatibility, catalog, commentary, community, or commerce purposes.

Commerce, subscriptions, and app stores

  • Marketplace, affiliate, advertising, and partner links may generate revenue for Brickzip and can change, expire, redirect, or become unavailable without notice.
  • Prices, discounts, availability, shipping, taxes, seller details, and product condition are provided by third parties or imports and may be inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. Verify all purchase details with the seller before buying.
  • Paid Brickzip features, subscriptions, badges, storage limits, and supporter benefits may be offered through a payment provider or app-store billing system where required.
  • For digital goods or subscriptions purchased inside an Android app distributed through Google Play, Google Play billing, cancellation, and refund rules apply unless Google Play policy permits another billing option.
  • Uninstalling an app does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Use the payment provider, app store, or account controls that processed the purchase.
  • Refunds, trials, renewals, and cancellation timing are handled according to the checkout terms shown at purchase, applicable payment-provider rules, app-store rules, and mandatory consumer rights.

Moderation and termination

  • Brickzip may label, edit, reject, hide, remove, de-rank, lock, restore, or review content and accounts to operate the service, enforce policies, address legal issues, and protect users.
  • Moderation decisions may consider content, account history, spam signals, reports, safety risks, legal requests, and platform integrity.
  • Accounts that repeatedly infringe rights, submit abusive reports, evade enforcement, or create safety or security risks may be limited, suspended, or terminated.
  • You may stop using Brickzip at any time and may request account deletion through the data deletion page.

Disclaimers, liability, and changes

Brickzip is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service, catalog data, prices, availability, public content, translations, media, search, partner offers, or integrations will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brickzip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, service interruption, third-party purchases, or user content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these terms when the product, law, app-store requirements, or operating model changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
