This page explains how to send copyright, intellectual property, safety, abuse, and illegal-content reports to Brickzip. Urgent threats to life or physical safety should also be reported to local emergency services.
Copyright notices
Send copyright notices to [email protected]. Brickzip can act faster when the notice includes the information required for a valid takedown request.
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list for multiple works.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and information sufficient for Brickzip to locate it, such as exact URLs.
- Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner.
- Any additional context that helps distinguish your original work from permitted use, fan content, commentary, catalog reference, or other lawful use.
Counter notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake, contact [email protected] with a counter notice.
- Identify the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- Include your contact details and a physical or electronic signature.
- State under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- State that you consent to the appropriate court jurisdiction and will accept service of process from the original notice sender or their agent.
- Understand that Brickzip may restore the material if the original sender does not notify us that they filed a court action within the required period.
Abuse and safety reports
- For harassment, threats, impersonation, spam, scams, malware, illegal content, privacy exposure, child safety issues, or platform manipulation, email [email protected].
- Include URLs, usernames, screenshots, timestamps, and a short explanation of the concern.
- Do not send illegal sexual material, child exploitation material, malware, or private personal documents directly. Describe the concern and provide the location so authorized reviewers can investigate safely.
- For privacy or account-data requests, use [email protected] so the request reaches the correct workflow.
- Brickzip can remove content, restrict accounts, preserve evidence, contact infrastructure providers, notify affected users, or escalate to authorities when appropriate.
Repeat infringers and misuse
- Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights or abuse the reporting process may be restricted or terminated.
- False, abusive, or bad-faith notices may create legal consequences and can delay review for legitimate reports.
- Brickzip may ask for more information when a report is incomplete or cannot be verified from the provided details.
