    This kind of mech is a discovery for me, no doubt the new connectors in recent years have made the brick system look great for doing this kind of thing, some years ago it was unthinkable to do this without using the system of Bionicle and its successors...

    I think the biggest problem is the thickness, I'm not saying that baseplates are not necessary but the thickness problem is a bit annoying especially for combining buildings/sidewalks... and so on

    I think the same, the thickness is an annoying issue with modular buildings.
